Middle Village Market Update

               Middle Village, NY February 09, 2012 – The median sales price for homes in Middle Village, Queens for Oct 11 to Dec 11 was $520,000 based on 37 sales. Compared to the same period one year ago, the median sales price increased 3.8%, or $19,000, and the number of sales decreased 2.6%. Average price per square foot for Middle Village was $326, an increase of 0.9% compared to the same period last year.  The average listing price for homes for sale in Middle Village was $568,000 for the week ending Jan 11, which was unchanged compared to the prior week.

Middle Village’s home resale inventories decreased slightly, with a 3 percent decrease since January 2012.  The median listing price in Middle Village stayed the same from January to February. There were a total of 2 price increases and 7 price decreases.
